How do I set up the authenticator app?

WNCC requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all student accounts in order to enhance security and protect against phishing and other threats.
MFA will be required when accessing WNCC resources from off-campus locations. You will not be required to use MFA when on campus.
To support this requirement, WNCC will be using Microsoft’s Authentication tools. These tools provide multiple options for MFA as well as password recovery. You can use a text message, phone message, or the Authenticator app.
While it is not required, we recommend that you add the authenticator option. Go to https://go.wncc.edu/myaccount and select the security info tile, then click the Add sign-in option and select the authenticator app.
