My instructor said a book/film is on reserve in the library. What does that mean?

Answer

Instructors may ask the library to set aside materials specific to a class. These films and books are kept at the circulation desk and are not available for general circulation. There are also a limited number of textbooks that have been donated to the library that are available for in library use.

To request an item on Reserve, simply ask the staff member at the library front desk. Please be prepared to provide the name of your instructor and the title of the item you need.
